ENDURA-FLEX® 1200P Epoxy Primer/Sealer. A two-component epoxy primer sealer that offers fast overcoat times, good penetration/wetting, for priming and sealing of steel and porous substrates exposed to the chemical and physical environments found in the water and waste treatment industries. EF-1200P was primarily designed as a compatible primer to be top coated with EF-1988 elastomeric polyurethane where a high property primer is desired or it can be used as a stand alone epoxy coating as a barrier coating. EF-1200P also makes an excellent non-shrink epoxy surfacer when mixed with chemically inert, ceramic EF-1200F filler material supplied as a separate component (see data sheet). This multi-use product may be sufficiently thickened for use as a trowel grade filler/surfacer on such surfaces as degraded concrete. EF-1200PW was primarily designed as a 100 percent solids potable water primer to be top coated with EF-1988 elastomeric polyurethane where a high property primer is desired or it can be used as a stand alone epoxy coating as a barrier coating. EF-1200PW also makes an excellent non-shrink epoxy surfacer when mixed with chemically inert, ceramic EF-1200F filler material supplied as a separate component (see data sheet). ENDURA-FLEX® 1200F Epoxy Primer/Filler EF-1200F is a very fine particle size, chemically inert volume displacing filler material designed as an additional component for EF-1200P epoxy primer. EF-1200F imparts lightweight properties for sag resistance during filling and surfacing operations while remaining non-porous and non-absorbing for easy mixing with properly mixed liquid components. High chemical inertness assures no chemical weakness or degradation due to the filler. Extremely fine micron particle size offers increased smoothness and in some cases the ability to spray the material with standard airless or plural component equipment depending on the properties of the liquid portion of the mix. One volume EF-1200F will add approximately one half increase to the volume of the more costly liquid portion resulting in substantially lower combined cost for those thick film hand troweled filling and surfacing jobs.
